Getting rid of the mud flaps???

How would I go about getting rid of those stupid looking mud flaps behind the front tires? They are like attached to the entire wheel well and I don't want to take the entire thing out, so I guess cut them off with a dremel tool or something? Anyone done this before?

Yeah, they do look stupid and I might cut them off, but only after I get a better looking set of mud flaps. I don't want salt and road grime to rust the car out.

The fact that the SS's all have sideskirts, hence no mudflap? Might be a thought.

I used tin snips, and cut them even with the body of the car. It's not hard to do. Just grab something that could cut through cardboard pretty easy and it should cut through them.
