I thought you had already sent that off to Jotech last I heard.

What's the progress on this?

thanks. ya im actually thinking of selling the neutral balance shafts and eagle rods and getting the balance shaft delete kit and crower rods

weve been working on getting the head done. i had to find a spare motor and i just did like earlier this week. thing about it is my brother has to go get the motor in tennessee for me but its getting there

had to order bronze valve guides and gm performance seals and supertech valve keepers too. but jotech is charging me 1450 for a stage 3 port job. and theyre even going to tell the company to put on the cam sensor for me too

I'm guessing 500+ with the looks of that forged crankshaft.

The real question is what are you going to do about a transmission?

By far one of the cleanest builds I've seen.

Looks like pure sex.

power wise im looking at around 600-650.
tranny wise im going to go with like a stage 4 clutch and possibly get it cryoed.
realistically i think itll be done around xmas. i wish i could get it done sooner. lol
im going to be running a stand alone engine managment. the Fast XFI system that gm uses on their drag set ups.

well the turbo was like $1300, manifold $1200 (but i got it cheaper from the guy who had it made), wastegate $600, intercooler was $500ish, B.o.v. $250,valve train $750, intake manifold $800
those are just a few numbers so far off the top of my head

ya i paid 300 for the eagle crank from a guy on j-body. brand new so that was a hell of a deal.
the rods and pistons i got for 500.so id say ive spent about 8-9000 in a yr on this. i still have a ways to go for what im doing.but the head is whats getting completely redone at the moment.

i had seen that b.o.v. one day and got lucky because it was the last one on the shelf so i had to ****** it up. i saw a few others eye balling it lol

lol. ya ive thought about the traction issues with it being a fwd car, but as far as maybe driving it around without racing ill run some 17's on nitto neogen tires, but im looking into maybe some slicks for the track days.
and from what ive heard the traction bars that bwoody makes isnt upto to par but thats just word of mouth from a few people on here so idk.
and all this on a home depot part time salary too lol

Any idea of what is the weight of the flywheel ?

EDIT : actually if you got a pic of the other side of the flywheel, I'll be interested too, looks like a good one for my next N/A build
