here is where i stand on this.
the block is currently with golden eagle getting sleeved with their hd sleeves.
the head is still in san antonio with marty, he ran into a small problem with the supertech seats coming loose once they heat test everything, so he had to order a few more.
the car is now having to switch to a cable driven t.b. for the fast system to work and ill need the msd dis-2 ignition control along with the 2 blaster coil boxes for the ignition set up

o and here is a fun interesting fact that alot of people are probably going to flame me on.
a skunk2 fuek rail for the k20 honda engine works on a ecotec motor.
yup we test fitted it and the holes for the injectors line up correctly. its actually easier to run a return style system using it, which i am doing.

Sure you're not putting too much stress on the injectors ?

bore center of the K20 is 94mm, and 95.8mm on the ecotec, so the injectors center should be almost the same

should line up "correctly", but not perfectly

Btw, any more info about the golden eagle sleeves ? first time I hear about it for our engines ?

well they dont get into too many specifics on the engine, they actually spell it wrong ECOTEK lol
but they have us listed as a saturn motor because they did alot of work with lisa kubo's ecotec drag car.

well i am waiting on the delete kit to come in, they are shipping out today.
the short block is scheduled to be done by the end of this week, and then we are going to start doing some mock ups. Im having a custom fuel rail made for $250 and i am going to be making block off plates for the electric water pump. Does anybody happen to know the part number or have 2 of those spacers that attach the fuel injector to the cylinder head? some how i am missing 2

Sounds like a good build dont forget about a good set of sleeves the stock sleeves from what I hear cant handle being bored out. Let me know if I may be wrong.

They can be anything past .030 and they became extra weak I have found this out the hard way since my block has been bored twice at .020" your fine after that geats hairy. Sleeved is the best way.
