GM Performance Intake System

how does the GM Performance intake system match up to a cold air intake system?

lol, use the search button. an intake is just an intake. the gmpp may be a little less IF any than an aem or injen but the gmpp intake keeps your warrenty and wont void.

you have nothing to worry about with a warrenty. Unless if you get an Injen intake and it causes the problem needed for warrenty, they cant say **** & they gotta fix it.

I think the GMPP Intake is nearly as effective as a true CAI because it blocks out most of the underhood heat. The Injen CAI (most that I've seen posted on cobaltSS.net) is inside the engine bay and probably takes in more underhood heat then the GMPP Intake.

you mean the Injen intake used as a short ram

the Injen CAI is not in the engine bay at all...

Yea, the ones that have the air filter in the engine bay. I don't think those are the best setups.

If the filter is inside the fender that's probably the best -- the GMPP intake gets most of it's air from inside the fender too.
