gmpp intake vs 2.4 manifold mpg's

I'm looking at buying either the gmpp intake, or the 2.4 intake manifold for my 2.2.

What kind of mpg gains have people here been seeing with either mod?

If you want to spot me $250 I'll buy both! The whole plan here is to save money, so I'm wanting to see what other people are seeing and then figure out what is going to help me out the most.

I've already done the gmpp touring exhaust. Best investment I've made on the car so far.

15.5 huh, thats not too bad...

No.

Don't be a lead foot. Thats the best way to improve MPG.

ok...

Can anyone share their experiences?

I already get about every last bit out of my car by driving smartly, I average about 38mpg. I really don't think I can improve on that much without doing something else to the car.

I know someone out here has some numbers to share. I need them to determine the cost vs. benefit of doing either mod.

I really can't believe you are already getting 38MPG. Guess all cars are tuned different from factory.

I noticed a jump from roughly 32MPG to 38MPG when I got full bolt ons and a tune.

Buy both or buy just the GMPP intake first. The gain of MPG is going to be almost nothing, the loss is only from being a lead foot and wanting to notice the difference. You will see a slight increase from the Intake once you get pashed the mashing to hear the sound.
