I'd contact Pacesetter. They might have something available for you guys by now.

pacesetter has one, but it's not a direct fit. You need to do a cut and weld to the downpipe. shouldn't be any fitment issues though. can't speak about any others.

Wasnt there a problem with mounting the EGR on some of the models. It seemed like some of the cars have it and some don't. If I remember correctly the 05 model arnt effected but the 06 model has this issue. I think TTR was trying to get someone by a header and then send them there stock header so that they could send it to pacesetter to have them make one that would compensate for this issue and in return TTR would give them an upgraded header.

Good thread actually. The GMPP header will fit for sure. The Pacesetting header has full length runners, and will require a custom downpipe for installation. That's not as bad as it sounds actually. Any exhaust shop can fab up a pipe for you.

The problem the CA and Hahn manifolds are having is a result of their "shorty" design. They have equal length runners, so they are all smooshed into a small space to fit. I fear I don't have a good solution other then perhaps indenting the one exhaust pipe with the close fit.

As far as the air injection (not EGR) issue, is was only on some late production 2006 models. Not all 2006 car have it. I don't think any of the 2007 models do.

Ill run with the pacesetter I work with a master welder and Ill get him to weld it for me does the pacesetter come with a ball joint to weld on to the down pipe. And since you have done more to the 2.2 cobalt than any body I was wondering if I will throught a cel with this header and a down pipe with a high flow cat.

Halfcent I emailed ZZP and they told me their ECOTEC headers should fit our 2.2's. Is that true? They only have the 2.0 listed.

have you ever seen the back side of an LSJ??

It is pretty much identicle to a L61, fitment should be the SAME.

as far as it bolting up to the downpipe.. thts a different story that I am not 100% sure about

Cobalt-addiction is making a new header that will not have any fitment issues on the 2.2l. I emailed Kenny with pics so they can make the header to avoid fitment problems. Give it a couple months and CA will most likely have their new one out.

Yea, CA is redesigning a header they should have tested. Plus i've heard bad things about CA's shipping policies.

Not to mention with all the great technology ZZP has theres no doubt I would go ZZP over CA or Pacesetter

Any LSJ header will fit a L61. They have the exact same head geometry.

I had no problems with the shipping from Cobalt-addiction. they shipped on time and they make a really nice header. they also know how to deal with customers.

If you are able to retain the use of BOTH of your O2 sensors, you should be fine. Biohazard has this header and has a CEL, but he also removed his cat and isn't using one of his O2 sensors.

god does anybody pay attention anymore... there were more problems of the ZZP fitment... these are just problems with the 2.2's which for some reason you guys believe needs a header,.... the gmpp manifold or a stock ss/sc manifold would be more than enough... unless you guys are running a procharger or something
