headers

the guys from gravana say that they are working on a header for the 2.2L and will put it into production if they get the hp out of it that they want. how much hp would a header give you? if anyone has put one on their old cavi or sumthin how much hp gain was there? im in a dilema about sticking with exhaust, header, intake, and possible chip when it comes out, or getting a turbo.

in that case dont buy a air intake, chip or exhaust (unless its 3") because all will need to be changed

^^ well said! I persoanlly think u should go turbo. However if u DO go N/A for the moment, then only focus on the exhaust and wait for GM to bring out the supercharger kit fo the 2.2

You know products will eventually start coming out for the balt, but slim to none right now. So for now, without doing something custom with everything besides intake, you have time to go over the pro's and con's of going both n/a or f/i. The cost of both vs. the overall outcome. I was personally going to go for a s/c and built for racing, but instead may go for a little more power, but mainly looks, especially now with gas prices.

That's not going to happen..... Gravana has been working on this for months... Too much modifications... it will actually go alot smoother if they would quit trying to mount the turbo in the engine compartment and remote mount the turbo at the end of the exhaust. Many cars are setup like this with virtually no lag with a remote mount system.

Keep in mind that if you do turbocharge or even supercharge then you'll have to start pumping higher octane fuel to prevent knocking (fuel in the cylinder igniting before the spark flug fires, due to high compression).
