Help with code P0496

Need to get my car inspected soon and it's throwing a code. I went to advanced auto and the guy read the code and said it's P0496- EVAP Emission high purge flood fault. Does anyone know how to fix this?

p0496 is typically caused by the purge valve which is under our hood. google: p0496 cobalt

i've had to replace it on my cobalt too. lucky you, it's cheap!

I replaced mine. Reset it, and it hasnt come back since. Its literally right there under the hood. 2 clips, swap, done. /end CEL
