Heres a question

alright i know everyone has seen those ridiculously cheap "performance" chips on ebay, and everyone knows they're junk, BUT what about thesehttp://performancechipsdirect.com???

I know I'm gunna get flamed for even asking if this would work, but come on it's not like its some 50+ hp chip for 2 bucks! Or is this the same thing as a ebay chip, only 60 bucks?

Thats the same thing as the Ebay chips. It just has a circuit so you can control with the knob what temp you send to your ECU from the IAT sensor.

I wouldn't even mess with it.

If you knew how the IAT spark map was laid out, this could be useful, but don't waste your money. Get a real tune.

This should end the thread. There is no such thing as a chip in my opinion. Every car is different and that's a fact. You could have identical mods on two of the same cars and the tune that works on one will not work on the other.

Therefore, you may see performance increases, but you won't be running right and gains will be marginal at best.

Get a custom tune and have your car running perfect -- it's a much more rewarding feeling.
