depends on the recall. If all they have to do is replace the injectors and possibly flash the ecu then maybe an hour or two. Just depends on what they have in front of you, if they have to wait on parts, etc.

10 minutes, lol....I dont know why a tech. would have ur car for longer than that...remove fuel rail cover......use a screwdriver to take loose the metal clips, pull the old injectors off the rail, install new ones, reinstall clips..........and if you dont want fuel everywhere u can take off the fuel rail shrader valve cap and release fuel pressure/ excess fuel beforehand...either way its easy no skill required at all

pretty much like any other job. 10 min to do the actual job, then the other 3 hours for looking up history, inspection/reccomendation, passing around paperwork, etc.

lmao yeah it takes no effort at all and you get paid 6/10 of an hour for it. I typically keep the car for about 30 minutes to make sure those injectors work

but you dont have to install the new clips sepratly. wiggle the injector in place and the clip slides with it

Actually you dont get paid 6/10...its .3hr. now and if an injector is stuck open or closed you'd notice it pretty quickly

lol that horrible. especially since the tech only makes 45% of the flat rate, which is already cut in half since it's considered warranty work.
