from wut i understand u can change HP Tuners can modify the transmission. The 4T45E is quite an old tranny in fact. The TCM is a seperate computer from the ECM in my car. I just wanted to screw around with a couple things, like line pressure, shift points, etc...so i think u can..im just not 100% sure. any ideas?

HPT does in fact support our TCM's, but not the ECM. You should be able to modify the items you discussed. However, HPT software operates using a credit based VIN indentification system. If you use it now, you might have to pay for it again when the ECM support becomes available.

I don't know, I haven't tried the software yet myself. I'm not going to bother until I can get the entire package. You should only be able to tune the trans for right now. What do you want to change? With my built trans, I'll be looking to change the torque limit tables, shift speeds and pressures. I'm told HPT gives you dynamic control as well, meaning you can lock the trans and converter in a specific gear for acurate dyno tuning.

I want to up my line pressure's in both "2" and "L", change the shift points in "2" and extend the "L" gear to 3rd and 4th gear

For "2" I want to up the line pressure to high and for "L" I want to make it almost extreme, I'm going to do some testing first though, I want "L" to be my new drag racing gear, but i need to extend the limit past 2nd gear so I can go beyond 80. And I want to have "2" as an aggressive gear.
