Yes....the fuel rail will not hold them in the correct place...it's off maybe about a 1/2" inch or so, you will have to get a cavalier fuel rail or eqv. The wiring harness is also wrong, you will have to have a SS/SC harness and hardwire it in the the existing harness....i.e. cutting the plug off the 2.2, and cutting the plug off the ss/sc and soldering the wires from the ss/sc harness to the 2.2 plug to make it work. Also, you will have to keep the MAP wires in place on the 2.2 plug whereas the SS/SC harness does not have the Map wires on the fuel injector harness.

the SS/SC stock injectors WILL NOT WORK in a stock L61 engine without first modifying the fuel rail and harness. If you just try and put them in there, the electrical will not fit and there will be a gap between the fuel rail and the injector port of approx. 1/2". The injectors will physically fit in the fuel rail and the injector port, but not at the same time.

i'm talking about the 2.0. the injectors in the 2.0 will not fit on to the 2.2. i guess that means it has different fuel rail.

well i have a 2.4 and also have a different fuel rail from the 2.0 but i run ss/sc injectors and the meet the head and rail fine with no problems.. i thoguht the 2.2 has the same fuel rail as the 2.4s which would mean that there will not be a fitment issue

there is no difference in the heads, so it should work. i will have to find out if the fuel rails are the same.
