I currently have a 07 Cobalt Sedan LS and i wanted to install power locks and windows on my car. **** the cost i jus want it done. I need all the parts and tools needed. Plz help me with this someone.

 

I dont want to sound like an ass, but If you don't care about the cost................why didnt you buy a Cobalt with power locks/windows from the factory?

 

Its gonna be a lot. You need door panels, switches, probly new door latches, i think i read somewhere that the door speakers are set up different, window motors and rails.
As far as tool a basic set of hand tools should be good, but your gonna need a dvom and a wireing diagram too. Probly a few fuses.

 

Fuses are probably already there. See if you can find a cobalt at a junk yard and take the motors and door panels from there.

 

The dealership did mine for $600.

Good deal, everything works properly. No complaints.

 

go to best buy and let them install power locks, i got the actuators for like $20 each and i forgot how much the install was it wasnt that bad of a price
