Internal Help

Probably going turbo in the spring i read somewhere that with just a piston and rod upgrade on the 2.2l i could safely push up to 450hp is that correct or do more internals need to be upgraded????

yea i know our stock internals are rated for 250hp max but i read that a simple rod and piston upgrade would be able to upgrade the limit to 450hp max just trying to see if this is true

Simple answer no, you must stick with the 2.2L internals do to piston configuration and rod length.
