Umh? Engine internals do you mean? Yeah, GM sells them for the ECOTEC engines.

http://www.gm.com/company/gmtunersource/html/home.htm

Otherwise you are going to have to be more specific than just "internals".

This link was actually posted somewhere else in the forums. Though, this site is mainly for the 2.2L Eco's. I didn't look at the type of balt you drive before typing this.

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to find retail source of internal engine parts, correct?

First, which part are you trying to find. You will not find a "kit" of internal parts. The closest you will get to that is a complete shop built engine with the parts already installed.

You have to decide first on a manufacturer that is making a part that will suit your needs. Take rods for instance. There are lots of connecting rods for the L61 engine;
The stock GM rod
The "pink" GM rod (the one used in the LSJ which is interchangeable with the L61)
Mantapart makes one, but I don't like them
Eagle Rods, excellent street rod
Crower rods, for drag engines making silly high horsepower

Then, when you pick one, you have to find a retail source of the product. That is usually easy, just contact the manufacter and they will find a retail source close to you or on the internet. Like Eagle rods for instance, best price you will find is at Go Fast Stuff for $309:

They even through in a new set of clevite bearings for you.

First off, don't buy from mantapart. A lot of J guys have had problems with them (including me). The Lsj rods are not interchangeable with the L61 unless you use the Lsj crank too. If you want to change the internals, keep the stock crank. I haven't seen someone break one yet. Buy some eagle rods and wiseco pistons. Turbotech sells the rods pretty cheap and you can get the pistons just about anywhere. i got mine from carcustoms.net.

Not quite. The stock L61 crank is just fine. You have to use GMPP piston set part #88958634 with the LSJ rod in order for it to work.

However, for the cost of the LSJ rod and the GMPP pistons, you can do much better with Eagle rods and Wiseco pistons, and you get a better product.

Yes, turbotech is an excellent supplier of the kind of stuff you are looking for.

I plan on a goal of 400trq and 450whp, I know must of the things I need on the engine and will post here in the morn as my list is on another comp, anyway question being...

I was thinking $4000k just for internals to run at 6-7.5k rpm does that sound right...there are like 4 major parts and like rings and pings and ****...I am too tired...

I will await replies.

450 HP at 7500 RPM will require;

Rods (I recommend the Eagle set at $310)
Pistons (the Wiseco set at $460)
Head Studs (ARP ar $140)
New head gasket (stock, about $50)
Valve train (Ferrea. Valves, springs, retainers. $900)
Misc allowance ($100)

Parts total; $1860

You should probably also get the adjustable cam gears with new bolts.

Who is doing the work?
What about your trans?

off topic, but what is the stock bottom end (rotating assembly, internals) capable of supporting?
