just a thought...
i was just looking for some 18" all gloss black wheels and realized there aint much of a choice for four lugs...what would it take to do a hub change to the cobalt 5 lug?
WOW, you can't be serious. You DO realize that the 4 lug on the Cobalts (4x100) is one of THE most common bolt patterns out there. Just about every Civic and Integra runs that bolt pattern.
And yet you want to change to the 5x110 pattern on the SS/SC's?!?!?!?! You DO know that's one of the RAREST bolt patterns in existance right???????
It just makes NO sense what you're talking about. For every one wheel that exists for the 5 lug cobalts, there are 50 that exist for the 4 lug cobalts........

Sometimes its better to be helpfull then rude.
Other good way to find wheels is to search for the bolt pattern (4x100) and find other cars that share that bolt pattern. I know off hand Civics and Integras use that bolt pattern so that right there should make it a million times easier to search by vehicle or go on forums like HondaTech or eBay and see if someone is selling some either new or lightly used wheels.
check the ebay seller: dpmotor1 -- they sell a lot of foreign wheel sizes: i got my 5x110 wheels from them, they're actually designed for Vauxhall cars. i don't know what GM was thinking with the 110 bit. 5x100 would have been better. anyway, give them a shot and see what you come up with.
Konig wheels makes a lot of 4x100, along with Enkei, Rota, speedline, momo, work, ray's engineering, etc. most major brands make a lot of 4x100. my tip would be know your OEM wheel dimensions, and pay close attention to them when ordering online. good luck!!!

If your going to go to all that trouble you should do the Grand AM Conversion GM did on their race version, then you would have the Common 5x100 bolt patern, bigger brakes and 4 wheel disc.
You'd need:
Rear spindles, Rear wheel bearings, Rotors, Calapers, Caliper Brakets
Front wheel bearings, Hubs, Rotors Calapers, Calaper Brakets,
and some fabricating skill.
ABS probably wouldnt work, but not for certian on that one.
I kept my 4 lug and im doing autocross with it, Common parts eay to work on, just doesnt lookas good as disc in the back.
Also you can get ANY wheel powder coated in any color for (at least around here) $50 to $125 per wheel
