i got a kid that works with me that has a acura tl. one of the newer ones. its an auto with the sport shifter. 2.3l i believe with about 280ish hp and 230ish tq. what do you think about him vs my cobalt ls with 2.5 full exhaust and an 85 shot. b&m shift plus. 2.4 mani swap, and an injen intake. and no im not running on stock continentals...lol. he has no mods except for a set of heavier rims. lol.

i thik it'll be a nice race.

as long as i have my window switch and have set to safe perameters its safe. i have other safety mods. but i just listed the performace ones.

 

I just looked at the specs and did some quick calculations. (Quick, not accurate lol) It looks like you should have him, if you're using an 85 shot. That being said, right now its just paper racing, so it doesn't mean much. And secondly, you'll be pushing it with a shot that big.

if its anything like this local 2.3 acura that i raced he had exhaust intake 5 speed and from a 40 roll he put bout 1.5 cars on me and all i have is the fujita intake and driver mod. but when we went from a dig i had 2 cars on him till 90 mph which is when i let off so if you can drive run from a dig and youl smoke him bad.

 

Im pretty sure the o.p. meant 3.2 not 2.3...i believe all tls from at least 2000 m.y. on are 3.2 besides the 2007+ type s which is a 3.5

 

that makes a big diff but run from a dig bc no stockish honda has tq and they suck out of the hole

 

nice. like i said too hes a semi-auto with absolutely no mods except for rims that look heavier than stock ones. so i think i have pretty good chance. oh and deff not a type s

 

the question is can you launch your car hard with out spining to bad and if you can you will put buses on him from a dig and if he does catch you it will take a while at that rate

 

not a problem. i highly doubt he'll catch me too. almost to nothing if anything.
