The SRI is going to give you more engine sound than the CAI. So if you get the Injen (which is my suggestion) just put it in as a SRI.

The CAI gives you plenty of noise. And more power up top. You aren't sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Don't talk down to the Ebay CAI. It looks just as good without a sticker. When the filter gets dirty we just put on an AEM filter and BAMMM, you have an AEM. For a lot cheaper

that may be, but decibal level and price should not be a determiner when modding a car, that's how stuff breaks. If you look for mods the same way you choose your brand of toilet paper, you have problems. And wanting to be noisy and not caring what the performance of the product looks like.....is rice as ****. You could save money on your exhaust too. Go to Wal-Mart, get an "high flow" muffler and rice it up.

Well put, I think the main factor on the Ebay to Price/ Performance. Screw sound on an intake. I would think most people wouldn't care about sound as long as it provides the most power.

it's just an intake....they dont add huge amounts of power they just free up some ponies. the amount of power freed up is trivial anyway. if your n/a a intake is just for gas mileage. if your boosted then it'l make your turbo spool up a few hundred rpms quicker and will help the blower boost a little quicker as well. However ALL intakes are nothing but tubing and a filter. the only concern is what kind of filter and where the MAF sensor is located....other than that any intake will flow close to the same CFM's as long as it's a 3" tubing w/ a good filter.

SRI's Suck ass btw....

if your gonna go as far to switch your stock air box to a tube with a cone filter, theres no point in not extending it 4.5 inches so it can breathe cooler

My Fujita threw a code until ECU relearned the measurements. And at the time was on up there for best wheel power made. Between 6whp and 10whp IIRC.

Pretty good considering on average for sport compacts they range 4-8whp.
