i wanna see a pic of someone with the k&n intake and also the trq damper, cuz i have a ingalls, and had to go the custom route with my intake b/c of it...i didnt think the k&n inatek would work b/c of the damper, and i dont wanna get injen cuz its to expensive for just a fucken aluminum tube, and AEM looks to plain to me

i dont imagine it would. the k&n bolts up to the stock airbox bolt and one of the headlight bolts. although i dont have the ingalls, iirc the heatshield doesnt interfere with the engine mount or the clearance above it. ill take a pic tomorrow. i coulda swore i had a pic, but cant find one.....

honestly, I think the GM short ram intake is by far the best design for a short ram. It is exactly the same as any of the other short ram's except it has an open box around it, shielding it from hot engine air. Also the "intake resonator" that everyone wants to take out, shoots cold air at the filter. So, that is why i think it is the most efficient.

short rams are always louder. i have the k&n its loud as hell.. wouldn't recommend fujita as you have to keep the stock black box that clamps to your TB. injen and weapon r's sri are just like the k&n, w/o heat shield. i think the heat shield helps a little. it also helps your intake not bouncing around and getting all dinged up when your engine flexes..

all in all... k&n is the way to go for 2.2 IMO
x2^^^^

and i dont think the k&n will work with a td unless you modify the sheild or something
