LSJ Manifold on L61 (EGR/Air Injection Question)

I have in my friend's garage, an LSJ exhaust manifold that I intend to install on my 2.2 L61, both manifolds are off 2006 model years, however with all the talk about this EGR/Air Injection stuff I wanted to know if there was a port for the Secondary Air Injection on my LSJ manifold. If there is nowhere for me to attach the air line going from the intake to the manifold, then what should I do with that line?

You should not install the manifold. If you actually do have Seconday Air Injection then it will severly hurt your car and throw it into LIMP MODE.

And I hate when people say EGR, theres NO EGR on ANY COBALT. EGR is COMPLETLY different than Secondary Air Injection

Does your L61 actually have SAI? Are you sure? If it doesn't, then the LSJ manifold will be fine. But to answer your question, no, an LSJ manifold has no provisions for SAI.

if you have the air injection, then don't use the manifold that doesn't have it...

My car does have SAI. There connection is there on the air intake box. So I guess I won't be able to use this manifold then... is there anyway I could fabricate a connection for the SAI to the LSJ manifold?

well, i guess you could drill a hole in the intake, put a mount, and then drill a hole in the manifold and make another mount... it's probably more trouble than it's worth for the extra few hp... i would just wait till they come out with something that works...

I have yet to see the difference in the two manifolds. Does someone have pics of manifold that has the SAI and one that doesn't.
