The Luxurious Cobalt
Hi everyone, I have a 4 dr red cobalt ls, with a gm lip kit, gm air intake, little carbon fiber interior, and short shifter.
Anyhow, I'd like to know what kind of products are out there to give are car a more luxurious feel, and ride.
So front seat swaps, leather, or just comfy, or whatever.
And suspension set ups that would give it a Cadillac type ride, at least in that direction.
I already know speakers so i guess those are the 2 areas i have questions in.

you may have some custom seats made...best youll get is a set off ss leathers though
as far as suspension...you wont find what your looking for on a cobalt, we have lots that make it good for handeling...nothing for nice comfy ride though...

welllll, there are multiple ways to get a luxurious ride.
most seem to do a layered approach.
as for interior asthetics.....throw in a touch screen anything(i like carpc's lol), a nice amp/speaker/sub system, ss heated leather seats, add sound deadening, no tacky blue flame accent pieces, power windows/locks combining aftermarket/oem so your door panels don't look out of place, get the ss speed cluster, have a buddy good with fabrics etc apply some matching materials to key areas where the plastic just looks terrible and this would look actually better(no sheep fur pleze). key is to keep it clean lookin, like the factory SHOULD have released it.
for suspension....stiffer shocks combined with springs more on the soft side(good way to have the suspension upgraded yet not have so much bite), better spring seats(i modified mine in my old dropped civic, gave it height kept it stiff but took some bite off and allowed the shocks a bit more travel). another key are the bars connecting the left and right side suspensions, the more the sides work together the better ride you'll get with increased handling.
on the outside...if you got door moldings take em off they look tacky, replace the bulbs with led's, get, debadge the hell out of it, paint the entire mirror both sides, gen4's with some hid foglights in the bumper(if u have provisions).
with that all done, u'll be luxury and stylin. that's riding clean sonnnnnnnnn. lol
