MAF Sensor adaptor...
Hey guts I'm wanting to run a cone style filter in the balt, but I have a spectre intake kit, and there's nothing I can really do about the MAF sensor, does anybody know of any adaptor kits or anything??
thanks.
P.S. tried searching, sorry if this is a repost.

i have a spectre kit also and honestly you dont want that **** on your car....mine is throwing codes left and right and when the air goes thru that cheap ass plastic pipe it will **** your MAF up and theres nothing you can do to fix it even with a tune ( i have one) it still throws codes. you can reset it but it wont last more than a day. the coolram is out from hahn and the AEM one is out they are a little pricey i understand but its worth the money to save you from the headache of that cheap ass kit...i think it throws so many codes cus it doesnt really seal very well no matter how much you tighten it and if you tighten it too much its gonna crack and you got a leak no matter what so just get with Aaron at turbotech.com and buy the Hahn kit and save yourself the trouble but ifyou insist on that cheap ass kit the part number for that maf adaptor is 9405 just go on autozone.com or summit racing website and order it.

Yeah those plastic serew on clamps suck, I have couplers and the middle clamp is sealed, I have the kit on now but it goes into the stock airbox, with the "airbox mod" and a K&N filter
but I've never had problems with it, I ran it on the Cavalier, and have a couple friends with the kit and they have no problems, but if I had the money I'd sure go buy a "real" intake.

It comes with different adapters, just make sure its part #9405
The only pieces I used was the one second from right on bottom, the rubber o ring and a couple screws that came with it. All that other stuff you dont need.
