Manifold differences

Does any one know if there is a difference in layout of the 2.0 and 2.2 exhaust manifolds? The reason I ask is I bought a Pacesetter header before I found out I might be able to trade in my 2.2 for a 2.0 and I want to be able to keep it if its ot to different in the layout. Also if the layout is the same is anything else a problem with fitting? Thank you.

I would assume it would be different because of the displacement difference.

Don't quote me on that though.

Call Pacesetter like HalfCent said.

Accorrding to Pacesetter: hello , the header will bolt to the motor , but the ports and primary tubing size are on the small side , for the amount of power the 2.0 s/c makes .

also the short extension was made to fit the 2.2 cat which is roughly a 2" inlet , and i believe the 2.0 s/c is a 2 1/2" inlet .

we are going to be working on a header for the 2.0 s/c , but at this time im not sure as to when they will be avaliable .

way to know somebody

its his product, so i dont see why he would give you any bad measurements on it. despite pacesetters low quality on some of their stuff they do always seem to give what they promise.

I agree that most of their stuff is low quality compared to others but as long as you get their header ceramic coated, you should be fine.

i agree, thats what i have sitting under the hood of my cav. its been there a while and still looks pretty damn good, but a turbo would look better.

Redline:
manifold opening of 15/8 by 11/2, ports are 11/2 wide by 1" tall, 3" collector

according to Jason Smith

1 1/2" ports and 3" collector

ours are similar in size but with a smaller collector I believe...not too much difference between the two.
