maybe buying an ls
maybe buying an ls
hey whats up i have been posting on here this week cause i'm most likley going to get a cobalt ls. i was wondering what some of you are paying a month? also i made a thread to see what some of you guys are running in the quarter. i seen some of you are 16.2 and others are mid 15's. i have a race car i'm building so this cars gonna be my daily driver and i'll probably mod it just to have a little fun. do you guys get worse gas mileage with the bolt ons that you have or did you not really notice a difference. i'm a newbie to cobalts, but i have an extensive backround with many cars that i've owned so hopefully i can add some knowledge where its needed. as far as backround:
2000z24- (15.3 1/4) mods consisted of rsm 62mm tb, magnaflow catback,FPR, aem alternator pulley, b&m shifter, aem short ram, and apexi super afc untuned.
1999 mustang cobra-(13.3 1/4)-4:10 gears, flowmaster american thunder catback, bbk underdrive pulley, and short shifter.
2004 sentra specv-(14.5 barley moded 13 second car)- Balance shaft removal kit, JWT cams, hotshot header, light weight crank pulley, aem cold air intake, and motor mounts.
1991 firebird Formula-(15.1 stock running with a blown head gasket)- currently rebuilding a 400sb that i'll be dropping in. mods to date on stock 350 since track time, converted to carb, long tube headers, edelbrock rpm performer intake manifold, and slp zr1 hyper black wheels.
i've done all my modifications on my own, not to mention i've helped many of my friends with their mods. two of my best friends have turbo hondas which in both cases we our selves rebuilt and tuned both cars. So nice being apart of the forum and hopefully once i get a cobalt myself i'll start posting some helpful cobalt information.

I just bought a new 06 LS on monday. my payment is $206.11 with no money down at all with tax, title and doc fees all rolled into the loan.
All I got on mine was power locks, cruise, auto and floor mats.... sticker was $15,105 and my total out the door for everything was $14,836
Can't really beat that and getting a new car with nothing down for $206 a month
The car seems to definately be worth it.

I just recently bought my Cobalt LT with everything except the sunroof, & XM radio a month back. MSRP was $17,900 and I ended up getting it for $15,900. With $4500 down, 7% interest, and 4-year financing, my monthly payment is $300...Just to give you an idea.

Yes, I have a 72month loan with 0% interest so if I pay it off early there is no penalty and if I don't I'm not out anything because there is no interest on it... you can't beat that... just pay extra when you got it and don't when you don't have it...
