Exclamation MRZ pulley review

well i got the pulley on, here's some info you will need

tools:
belt removal tool(for tensioner)
belt(4050390<<gatorback part #)
jack
jack stands
impact(my electric impact, rated 200lbs, worked fine)

how to will come when i have more time, here's some pics for not of the UDP pulley on the car

Here's a shot of the OEM lightweight 1/2 installed, only missing the bolt

i haven't gone out for a drive yet so idk how it feels, dyno will come tommorow

UPDATE: dyno'd today...here's the #'s

as you can see the UDP did add more, but in all reality, i dont see anything out of the ordinary in the dyno number, the first one was doen with 10 min break from making the drive to the dyno, the OEM lightweight got a 10-15min break after 2 consecutive pulls, which might be why the OEM got such low numbers, well the UDP got 30 min break time, as the belt was once more a bitch to put back on...i posted the best of each pulleys #, compared them to each other, like i said, i dont see anything out of the ordinary, no enought power was added, but i can say my car rev's like a bat out of hell, i let it rip on the dyno in the first gear had a big smile the whole way, car pulled like it never has before

View Video on FQuick

some pics i took all strapped down

Those look very nice. I don't think you'll see a whole ton of power gain (~5hp or less I'm guessing) but I bet that the car revs faster and feels more responsive.

Just got my lightweight pulley installed today and took it for a long test drive.

I cannot believe how heavy the stock harmonic balancer is now that I hold it in my hand. Damn what a difference in weight even compared to the lightweight version MRZ pulley.
It revs up very quickly almost instantly up to about 5700 rpm's like nothing
I did not notice any extra vibrations or strange noises after installation. No C.E.L. either
Don't expect any huge Hp gains from this one mod or you'll be dissapointed. I would say I felt just a little more power maybe 2-3 Hp more but the real test will be in the Dyno results.

yeah i haven't taken it past 3k rpms yet, i really don't like to floor it, but i can tell you taking off a stop the gas is more responsive, also when i first started the car it idled around 1200, rev'd it, stayed at 1200, let it sit for a good 15 mins, it slowly dropped to 1k, than down to 800ish, where it stays at now... no vibrations that i can feel(but than again i do have solid mounts), pulley looks steady when spinning, really this thing is a beauty, i almost didn't wanna put it on :p

1st Gear feels like a different car entirely and yeah there's no way I'm taking it off now. Driveability does not seem to be affected at all. I had my friend rev the car while I was looking at it and it looks very well balanced. We should post some videos tomorrow to show everyone exactly how it helps with the revs

well let me get batteries for my camera first :p i used my phone for those pics, ran them thru photoshop to filter out all the bad pixels, and than water marked them, i can waterr mark them to whatever MRZ wants, but until they tell me, they will have my teams site also my dyno vids will come tommorow, doing one stock, and one with the under drive, will see if we can do the swap there, ima bring my jack, impact, and belt tool to do the swap, shoudlnt take more than 10 mins now, im sure i can do it during the cool off time in between runs, and yeah no way in hell i can go back to stock, dude that casted crank pulley we have it heavy ****, compared to the lightweight, hell you cant compare, they are totally diffrent

Actually, I'ma guess you'll gain ~2whp with the light weight and ~5whp with the UDP.
