MRZ Redesigned crank pulley

I was one of the first to get the MRZ lightweight pulley when it first came out a while back.
Now I see that they have redesigned it using a stronger steel ring to prevent oil leaks and maybe to make it last longer. I did read the disaster thread where one member had a bad experience with the MRZ pulley.

My question is how many of you have actually sent you pulley back to MRZ and swapped for this new design?

Am I the only one here who has had that pulley for over 1 1/2 years without problems?

I have never had any oil leaks but at the same time I'm not going to wait and see if one develops in 6 months.

I have the lightweight one, never had the other one, this one hasn't given me any issues at all.

If you have a steel ring on it then you have the updated one. Don't worry

Best is to give them a call/email, and ask them what they would like you to do...

That way if something does happen in 6 months or longer, you can revert back to the email, and let them know you were concerned earlier...

Always contact the vendor first...
