WHAT!

Dude there are far cheaper products. For that price he can get a top of the line exhaust kit and just bolt it on.

I got a cheap one. But its sat out for a year still stainless. Has a cherrybomb muffler behind it to kinda make it a little quieter.

Flowmaster - $110 bucks(or their knock off brand that they make)
Tip - $20 bucks
Installed - $40 bucks

Problem solved.

if money is that tight, the last thing you should be doing is getting a new muffler for your car.

dood, im from michigan i dont think iv ever seen an oreileys up there lol...but if your hurtin for moneys and your dad can weld...meijer...30-35 bucks get a cheap thrush muffler have your dad weld it on and if you reeeeeally want to spend the extra money look up at the shelf at eye level and pick a tip...you might need one of the 18 inch sections of pipe and cut it down to bring the end out far enough tho....and the ss exhaust will fit. it bolts right in andprolly needs welded where they cut it to get it out but your dad welds right? i had it on my car for a few thousand miles and it sounded WAAAAY betterer than stock and a small diff in power( very small) maybe wait to see if someone sells their stock catback or put up a wtb thread for stock ss catback i think i paid like 90 shipped to my door from fl. besides then you get a bigger exhaust neway. i have since replaced my muffler w a flowmaster knock off which i picked up at a swap meet for 30 bucks and it sounds even betterer than before....but thats just me.
