there are lot of guys running nitrous without issue. but no matter your choice of major power adder, you run the risk of such things happening no matter the choice you make.

you spray multiple times a day on the street? GROW UP.

As far as this:Running a turbo you go into boost a whole lot more than that

I disagree. most times when you drive responsibly, you are in vacuum mode or negative boost.

Whatever dude. Ive had the kit installed for like a month. Im still learning how to drive the car while spraying. Sorry I dont have a track in my back yard.

oh and who hasnt seen that video??? *shakes head*

... i haven't heard of any problems with n2o, but with a turbo the 5th injector sending fuel through your intake poses a bigger threat... most of us have heard about he plastic intake manifold explosion with the turbo...

is that a joke? With a wet kit you are adding fuel through a jet, with a dry kit you are basically just running on the stock fuel system. just as likely to have problems. plastic manifold = probably saved this guys engine because it actually released pressure when he had that n2o backfire.

Not true, turbos make ur car more efficent if u stay off the gas and aren't flooring it. Just like a CAI helps ur gas mileage, a turbo will too. You lose 20-30% of ur gas mileage when u step on it and WOT, but if ur constantly under 2-2.5k rpms ur gas mileage should go up 20-30%

pretty correct, but it definately won't go up 30%. Basically all you are doing under vacuum with a turbo for mileage is freeing up the exhaust some. not nearly a 30% increase is gonna happen, but there may be a slight increase.

I would save my money and go with teh Turbo..... Nitrous over the life of your car is just gonna end up giving you more headache and breakdown problems then a small turbo setup will. Why do you think most people who spray nitrous ahve so many horror stories. Where as you never hear about Eclispe or Talon, or Subaru guys saying I blew my motor with ym small turbo. Even a small T3/T4 turbo or 14G would be more then enough to boost a 2.2 well past 280hp

well the dsm's and the turbo subaru's are engines built specifically for forced induction. There are lots of turbo horror stories out there. If done properly, nitrous can be pretty safe, but, like exhibited here, even just a slight window switch error can cause major problems.

Yeah, that's my video and my car. You got it right though.

As for nitrous being a bad idea...hell no. It was awesome! So what it had an oops...get over it. Prior to that I had made probably 30+ runs with nitrous.
