Need help, new clutch

Today i had my dealership put in my exedy stage one clutch. It was stiff like i expected it to be, but the pedal itself feels weird. It will engage when you barely pull the pedal off the floor. Also when putting the pedal to the floor to shift it feels like the pedal is "empty" until you hit the floor. Idk what the problem could be, any input would be appreciated!

Or is this the way its supposed to feel?

Do you think the dealership can adjust it as is? I spent quite a bit of money today with a new flywheel, slave/tob and the clutch install. I really don't want to spend anymore cash.

the stock clutch rod, from my understanding, is not adjustable

Damn it that sucks! I was hoping there was a way to adjust it. If i get this rod, will adjusting it hinder anything else from working properly?

Ha ha true, this clutch is very stiff in comparison to the stocker

Anyone else had to use this adjustable rod from zzp?

are u saying the clutch only engages when the clutch pedal is all the way pushed in? or will it engage with light pressure?

The pedal has to be put to the floor to get it to engage. Also the clutch starts to grab right off the floor. It's kinda a bear to drive in traffic

others have suggested getting the adjustable bar from zzp. I've gotten used to how it drives now, but it would be nice for the pedal to come up a little higher.

it will take a while to come up, dont put that rod in right away or youll have to keep adjusting it as it rises over time, wait 1k miles or so
