Need help quick.

Ok I have some problems.

1. When im braking its like a thudding noise on and off. Warper rotors or need new pads?

2. I got out of my car today and my front drive side is lower then the front passenger side. Like there is less space between the rubber of the wheel and the wheel well on the front driver side. Bad struts or spring?

Car has 46k miles on it and I bought used with like 44k so I have no idea what was changed on the car im not sure if they ever kept it maintaned or what. Also im only 130 pounds so no way did I ruin the springs lol.

Is there a shuddering feel when you step on the brakes? If so its the rotors.

The easiest thing to do is jack the car up and take the wheels off. You can check the pad thickness, and see if there is any liquid on the top of the strut after you take the dust cover off which would indicate that it is blown.

Hmm could it be anything else? Worn springs? Also how much would the strut cost and would I need to buy both? Are they easy to install?

Wow seems to be fixed. Raised it up. Checked pads/rotors are in great shape. Springs and struts are all good. Only thing that was bad is one of studs broke off and was stuck in my lug nut on the front right rim and the tire shop fixed it for free because they think they over tigtened it a while back. Then when I lowered it back down it was level again and not uneven.

Not sure why it was uneven, but the busted stud would cause the thumping. Not sure if that would cause the car to be sitting lower, though.

So after I drove back home and it sat for 30 minutes its now not sitting evenly. The front left is probally a half inch - inch lower than front mine.
