Need some advice...

It's been a long time since I've posted on here, but I have some questions. I'm going to be getting a new truck in the next few months, but want to keep the 'balt for a dd. I currently have 74000 miles and am looking at rebuilding the engine and having a little more power. What all should I look at doing? Looking at cams, rods, pistons, arp studs... etc. I want naturally aspirated. Will definitely look at getting a tune also. I just want reliable power for a fun dd. I also want the engine to be able to hold up for another 70000 miles or so, that's why I'm considering rebuilding it.

It all depends on how much money you want to spend.

the motor will hold up fine for another 70K without a problem. but if you want to rebuild it for a little more power why not just boost it. honestley itll come out to be close to the same price as to fully building a NA motor.

doesn't it always? lol... i might end up selling the 'balt for a jdm civic hatch as my daily. not sure yet. I would be willing to spend a decent amount, but i'm thinking a civic may be more reliable.
