no i had the car running for over 1 in a half years ago. a couple months ago i just put the TVS on the car.

reason why we selling is we just don't want to keep putting money into the car cuz we recently wrecked the rear end of the car and now fixing that would just be too much so we just getting rid of everything.

I would suggest getting the crank balanced along with getting the head professionally built and machined if need to. Also make sure sleeves are honed correctly for the new pistons and rings. Get new bearings for the rods and crank and get everything hot tanked

Hot tank cleans all of the excess **** off of whatever you throw in. Cleans off carbon, oil, grease, residue and metal shavings so you start with a clean block

If you have the money, might as well do sleeves. Cams are debatable. As long as you have new rods, pistons, balance shafts, main bearings, rod bearings, you're good on the block side. I bought a new crank with my build also. Head-wise, valves, sprimgs, retainers, guides, seats and seals. Get new gasket sets, specifically front main seal, rear main seal, front cover, cometic head gasket, valve cover gasket. Lots of gray rtv. Assembly lube. Get arp head studs. new crank case bolts from CED and make sure you have a foot lbs torque and an inch lbs torque wrench handy. Buy a new timing set both Cams and balance shafts also

I have almost a complete stock engine, check my sig and read my last post since some of the stuff is gone. LMK if you are interested, drive down to pick it up and I will make you a sweet deal.

if this is what i think it is either dont do it or pay someone for that man. when you gasket match the head you dont just do a half inch in because u would see little to no gains, you take that pattern further in. Idk a lot about these heads but if you go deeper and hit a water jacket you are done.
