Need suggestions

When I went to put the ss dp on my 07 2.2 I realized that the stock dp had only 2 oxygen sensors and the ss dp only had 1. I installed anyway being an idiot and my car ran in limp mod. aka even know it is a 2.2 no *****. So I went to take the ss dp off and snapped two studs off the header. Make a long story short a lot of bitching and yelling and I had to get an extra bung put into the ss dp and the header fix w/ three new studs and bolts

Car sounds good now.

Need suggestions
I like the sound but I want louder. Since I have all ss exaust dp and catback I wanted to cut the muffler off and put another one on. What does everyone suggest?

im prettty sure thats the SAI connect.

but not 100%

is your 2.2 late model 06 or 07?

also if you want louder, get rid of the 2.5 pipe and get 3"

but IMO it sounds a little honda-like (didnt want to say RICE )

No I have the 07 LT and when I installed my Injen my airbox did not have the sai thingy so I was very confused when I say the dp. I dont want to go any bigger than the ss catback but I was just wanting to cut the muffler off and add something.

I dont want it to be hondaish aka rice

erm...

if you havent done so already, a CAI makes these cars louder..

you can take off the resonator but that will sound ricey also. you can go with a higher flowing muffler but that will also sound ricey. its a 4-cyl. you cant get it loud unless you want it to sound like a fart.

"as far as the stock resinator, you can't just pull it out... you have to pull back the fenderliner, which easily pulls back after you remove a few bolts... then, the resinator if i remember correctly is just kinda hooked on... give it a good tug and it will come off..."

that is quoted from someone else.. i havent removed mine..
