The 2.2l oil cap does not say "mobil 1" on it

I would say amsoil or mobil 1

I like royal purple, temp needle at operating temp drops with it in, and engine feels like it runs smoother...it's not as easy to find though.

I agree with most everyone, Mobil 1 fully synthetic is the best for the money.

I would also recommend Royal Purple and Amsoil if you don't mind spending the extra money though, that's the best stuff under the sun right before Mobil 1.

I use what came in my car from the dealer, but since its an SS, its Mobile 1 Synthetic, and I change it at 5000 whether the oil life monitor says it needs it or not.

i use valvoline synthetic cause that's the only stuff they serve at my oil change place. they stopped selling mobil1 just a week before i needed a change, otherwise i would have gotten another round of mobil. oh well. =[

dude, its not that big of a deal. any name brand synthetic will suffice. if you really want to double the cost of an oil change, use amsoil or RP. just buy some oil and do a change. your not gonna notice a diffrence between the name brands i can tell you taht much right now.

amsoil 100% Synthetic > Mobile 1 Full Synthetic

i sell valvoline synpower all day and compared to mobile 1 it's good **** but they ain't got **** on amsoil. i tried royal purple and i'd rather spend the money on either of the cheaper brands. but if you want the best go with the 0w-30 100% Amsoil Synthetic. i'm on their 5w-30 now and i'm switching in about 3.5k to that 0w. i'm only riding 7k on my oil cause i drive this bitch like i stole it, and that's everyday the rubber's warm enough.

yea try the Royal Purple you wont be disapointed, a few years ago when they were just new on the market they came to a car show up here and they did a test, mobile 1 vs Royal Purple and did this grinding test of a rod and rod barring, and man oh man it was crazy on how much wear the modil 1 had compared to the RP
