My buddy and i post on a Focus site (he owns a focus) and they are sooo...FILL IN THE BLANK.

Heres what they have to say about cobalts v. focus's

His girlfriend in an AUTOMATIC wow ya thats a race alright. This goes on and on about how my car wont stand a change aginst him. Even tho ive raced and beat him before.

So the video camera is commin out this weekend and they will get to see their focus loose its ass.

I raced him the other night and i jumped 1/2 a car on him and thats where he sayed. He is otta town but when he gets back the video camera is out and then i can show them whats up. BTW i always do a 40mph roll in 2nd gear with him, and it always gets him. Video evedence to come.

Its not an SVT just a regular 2.3 with i/e, and i have i/e as well.

yeh its just like my friend always saying his Integra GSR SHOULD whoop my 2.2 with no problems with him only having custom cat-back and intake. what he doesnt know is lowering springs dont add whp but i havent told him that yet shhhh

Meh i think that the or most well actually some of the 2.2 guys know where they stand and that our engine is nice but its not god like all the Focus guys think of their 2.3. Thats where the difference is.

 

when I was only running I/H/E I ran a Focus (zetec motor) with I/H/E and I pulled about 2 cars on him...I also made up 2 because I didn't launch and just rolled out of the hole slowly.

I would think u would still take the 2.3 Duratec but anything can happen on the street. generally if a car is within a sec. of its opponent it has a chance because there are so many variables.

 

Im just annoyed by it. Ive beat him before, ill beat him again.

 

do you have fog lights recessed into the lower grill of your bumper? If so i'd like to see more pics of how that looks.

Im waiting for him to get back into town (hopefully tomarow) so we will get together sunday.

 

i will just say that my last focus(automatic i know) 2.3l ZX3, intake, catback exhaust on 16s, ran a lowest of 10.7 at the 1/8. my cobalt stock other than 17s, ran 10.5, or somewhere around there. with my i/h/e the lowest i got was 10.37 but i have a partial leak coming from the header which doesnt help me much.

Yea well you also have an SS and i dont so it is worth my time, plus he is one of my best friends since before i can remember so we have always been competitive.
