No, but I would recommend changing all the pistons if your upgrade, not just one piston . But nothing special is needed, like a tune.

fresh hone wouldn't hurt at all, im assuming your doing new rings and checking bearings while your in there?

You should do rods...they are crap.

Otherwise if youre staying stock then swap a stock motor instead of rebuilding.
