Pistons 4032 alloy?

Searched a lot, but most Ecotec L61 forged pistons seem to be of 2618 alloy and I prefer 4032 for a street car. Think Mahle makes them in 4032, but these have a lowish 8,5(?) CR and I like something around 9,5CR for my SC build. And prefereably a bit affordable...

Found this: CNC-Motorsports.com is your resource for High Quality, Hi-Performance auto parts from industry names you trust. Diamond Pistons GM / Saturn Ecotec 2.2L, Bore 3.3860 Compression 9.5:1
But think these are just the Diamond's in 2618. (Mailed them but no reply yet)

Suggestions??

why do u want 4032? less thermal expansion? i dont think ur gonna have issues with 2618 in a street car sir ive built plenty of engines with them and i haven't had or heard of problems with them or the thousands of other cars out there on the streets with them. if ur worried about some noise that will be eliminated once warmed up (thats if there is some which i doubt u wil hear)

You're correct; Thermal expansion, noise and long term wear "should" be better with the 4032 alloy, but for sure the overall piston design (brand) and correct bore machining is as much vital for these aspects.
I lean now towards the 9,5CR Diamond pistons for my "minor" SC build. (Standard bore)
Any other sugestions for a street 2,2 SC-ed Ecotec?

just put an 06-07 le5 bottom end in with a trigger wheel? 11.3:1 compression (blower will love it) and 350 wheel easy.

^^ That assumes a Harrop and E85 in the equation me think??
(Only 1 E85 pump here in the region and quite expensive. I live in the Netherlands...)

Thoughts on some quality ~9,5CR pistons?

No just that the bottom end can take 350 wheel easy. And you could do it on the mp62 but it would take work that no one wants to do, like getting one off cams made.

That would be a nice future project, but for now I just like some forged pistons for the Eagle rods in my SC-ed 2,2 rear engined car so it can take a smaller pulley.
Diamonds? JE's? Wiseco's only have 8,9CR, a bit low
