Ported S/C will it help or hurt
Yeah... I definitely wouldn't have lowered the compression to that unless you were planning on a high boost turbo build. With a S/C the more power you can make with less PSI, the better.
A stock LNF kit? That'll get you started... its a small turbo though. Very small. I'd go with something a bit larger. My old set-up is for sale on here somewhere. Vulcan Equal Length Turbo Mani, Precision SC5031E, and matching downpipe. I think he was asking $1000 shipped... you could probably talk him down though... he's been trying to sell it all for a while now.
And I don't think much of the TVS. Its a capable blower, without a doubt... just depends on what you want out of the car. I would never put one on my car.

That compression number on a blower makes me a sad panda. I'm going 11:1 for 93 + meth once my engine goes or I actually have the money in the "fun" account instead of the"oh ****" account.
Lol my money is the same way, I want more for the fun, but life has a funny way of spending any extra I save for it.
Yeah, I have the money to build my engine, but its in the "oh ****" fund. So if the engine blows I'm not fucked, but if I did build it with that money and say I lost my job or got my hours cut, well ****.
op the tvs wont fit. A good friend of mine has an m62 powered hhr that rolls out, unless you want to run with no core support then maybe
im sure that is 99% of the forum. hhmmm house morgage>car parts lol
