hey man i hope ur silicone couplers for the ic piping r threaded so they can take high pressure... if they look like mine on my thread DO NOT run high boost until u get some stronger ones... they will pop rite off if ur not to careful even while clamped on tightly... u can send me pix of one of em if u feel like it... also if ur gunna run in between 8-10lbs u MAY wanna upgrade ur fuel pump... its not required but it will help push fuel faster through ur bigger injectors also... do u know wat kinda tune u wanna run with? if u wanna b lazy and get sumone else 2 do it i suggest talkin 2 vince at trifecta performance and he will hook u up... or if u wanna feel like tuning it urself later on down the road on the fly, run with the AEM FI/C... need anymore help just ask!!

my parts thread!

jn2 we need to know where to run the coolant lines for the turbo, or do we even need to use them? i have pipe plugs that will fit to plug them if we dont need to use the coolant.

Alright, bit of an update..seeing as i haven't in a long ass time

Am not using either of the 2 previous turbos i bought..
they are BOTH for sale. The garret one that i thought would need a rebuild..doesn't
Vulcan Turbo said it'll burn a little oil if someone were to use it..and it doesn't look abused.
Ebay one..just sketchy on running it..

But i bought one that i will be using for sure..JN2 sold me his T25 off a DSM
I also bought a tapped oil pan for the return..so it'll be easier to drop the oil pan and just directly replace it with a different one.
Got my oil lines to, from Vulcan Turbo.

i updated the forst post with the parts that i have bought..and all

umm car MIGHT be getting done this weekend..depends tho. Still not sure..hopefully
because i got everything now.

But
almost there. Almost

Yeah i realize that(i dont know if you were talking a bad way or good wayt)
but
i dont wanna break anything, and it'll be a nice starting turbo.

Come summer im building the motor (rods, pistons, head studs..)
and going T3/T4 Super 60 i think

Also InstaSpool FTW

Its gonna be internally wastegated to 11 pounds

Instant boost is good, but it tends to get annoying spinning the tires loose every time you launch.

I picking up some 14 inch steelies from a honda (love having 4 lug!!) for drag wheels...stock some radials on those should help a little.

You guys think my cars gonna mellow down alot towards top end? like when im getting up in the RPMS..or you think it'll
pull hard still..

Might wanna take it easy if you decide to use radials. They'll snap those axles like they're nothing, especially if you're going to have boost during the launch. Just something to think about. I would just get some nittos or something sticky, radials are a bit much for stock axles.

i got KDWs on my rims...but my rims are ******* pigs big time

so i wanna get some small wheels for when i race at the strip

otherwise i could just get some really sticky tires for the 14's just need 2 and run stock wheels in the back
