Try and unbolt the compressor housing, and just rotate it.

Yep 5 qts for the L61/LAP/LE5, 6 qts for the LSJ/LNF because of the FI.

I would do 5.5 qts.

you might want to install the water lines. i wanted to bypass it too but i was told not to cause if its not gettin water and its supposed to it would overheat and sieze up the bearings

parts on expensive. like $25-$30 from lowes

Alright
piping is pretty much complete i gotta buy a like foot piece thats gonna be a bitch to do
in the back of the motor by the exhaust manifold that sliver like rod thing taht is shaped like a U

But my gauges are all hooked up all have power to them (and wideband is ready to go, not plugged in and boost lines are ran.)
went and put oil in the car last night gonna be checking for leaks after school
Mobil one fully synthetic

umm gotta just figure out my downpipe and thats what im gonna be focusing on right after i get my charge piping done..which should be done really quick

and ordered my tune last night..just gotta call trifecta today and make sure they got the money and everything and i overnighted it..so SHOULD be here friday or saturday

so close guys so close
and it helps to have a reddyheater blasting hahah so nice working in my garage now.

turbo. i think i messed up tho. where is the galley plug for the oil feed? so far i got my turbo and manifold mounted, oil pan tapped, 42's in, coolant lines ran, intercooler piping done, and tuned. i just need to get the oil and a longer drain hose and go get my downpipe made and im done

Yeah, my manifold was a tight fit on the studs, and I remember finally getting it on and then like....oh **** I gotta get THAT thing out??? Yeah it's much easier with it off. I got a perfect pic of the plug, lemme get it for ya. Oh, and go buy a T40 torx if you don't already have one.
