a question about what i can and can not do...
you can do anything...although alot of times people tell you that your warranty is void if you do this and that.
the only time your warranty should be voided is if it is a direct cause of the problem you may have been having that caused you to take it in to have work done.

Basically you can do anything you want to your car under warranty, as long as the modifications you do don't directly cause any problems. So if you install an aftermarket intake, and your door panel insert comes apart, its still covered despite the fact that the car is modified.
If the dealer tries to tell you that they are voiding your warranty for a mod that is unrelated to the problem you are having, tell them you'll see them in court, because thats illegal

Yea. I asked the dealer that i got my car from they said yea any aftermarket parts u put on there will void your warranty. So the salesman that i kno that sold me the car told me jus to look around at other dealers and see what they have to say. So I did I went to another local dealer and they said that " We won't void your warranty out , But if somthings wrong with the car because of what you put in there then you'll just have to pay for it."
The only way anythign can void your warranty, is if it is the direct cause of the problem.
IE: You put a wing on, and your engine blows up....not related.....covered.
You turbo your car, your engine blows up....related....not covered.
You put wheels/tires on, your struts go bad....related....not covered.
You put wheels/tires on, your seat warmer goes bad, not related....covered.
Get the jist of it? basically if you put something on that ***** something up that is related to it, its not covered.
That came from a Service manager down here in Massillon.
