and to 06 cobalt, if thats on the louder side could you recommend a brand thats on the quieter side? im not against a loud exhaust, just dont want to sound poopy. i wana make this sound good. deep tone i guess.

 

The GMPP exhaust is always a good choice. But I haven't heard every exhaust in person so I couldn't give you a fair answer. I've heard the GMPP exhaust and it sounds good. My friend has a SS/SC with a Vibrant Header/DP combo and the Corsa touring exhaust and it sounds good too and just cruising around it's not too loud.

But I think the GMPP exhaust would probably be your best bet.

Shitty iPhone sound quality but you get the idea. I'll have to get a rev-video soon. There's absolutely no rasp to it. No annoying popping when letting off the throttle. I bought these(links below) and had a custom 2.5" cat-back made. Mufflers cost $100 combined and the cat-back cost $200. MUCH better than paying $750 for a GM or Magnaflow exhaust. I don't recommend that muffler for SC or TC models but N/A it should flow much better than stock.
