Raiden8816's Supercharged Build
I've heard of a lot of people having issues with the idle on big injectors. but my car (still on stock injectors 2.4intake mani and a SRI) the idle jumps all over the place 800-1500
Almost any build thread i've read about people using bigger injectors they have issues with the idle dancing all over the place. Give Vince some time to work it out
Vince can get the car to idle on big injectors. My car idled fine on the 60's and 80's I had in it. We'll recheck the injectors seat. Also need to recheck your plugs. They are prob fouled out by now from running so rich. find those other ones I told you about
If they weren't seating correctly that would cause a vacuum leak...which u should be able to notice on your boost/vac gauge. Also you'll be pretty lean under boost in my experiences.
You may want to double check with Vince but I'm almost positive you'll need a retune when you go E85...if so I would set the car up how you want to run it now that way you only have to go through this BS once
Here's a update on the car;
We tested the TB and found no issues, then we realized that the L61 "flat" fuel rail was bottoming out with the SC bolts to the intake manifold so we changed it to an older Cavy L61 "round" fuel rail (similar looking to an LSJ fuel rail) and that clears the bolts very nicely. Then we were getting cylinder missfire codes P0300 so the spark plugs were done.
I had the same spark plugs for over 73K in the car and they were shot so they were replaced by autolite XP (they were cross ref with NGK LTR6IX-11) 1 step colder, taper seat, iridium.
The car runs better and the car now only dies sometimes at a stop/park. So now that all the mechanical bits are taken care of, its just a matter of fine tuning the idle/performance.

I think the rail makes it look alot cleaner too. Man were those plugs shot, and fouled. Hopefully the next tune will have a better idle. Once he leans you will enjoy the power. Im surprised how well it pulls already
