My clutch only lasted a few hours before starting to slip. I had a 3.0 pulley at the time

wow. do you drive it hard frequently? Im on my second clutch already since 33k miles and im at 47 now I'm a loser. But my next investment will probably be an aftermarket clutch once this one goes.

If I run a 2.9 with dual pass, ported blower and tb, i should be making around 215+whp right? maybe that at the crank. Just want to get an idea of how close im gonna be to blowing my car up.

around 220 at the wheels would seem about right.

an LSJ can make more with the same setup because of their head.
2.2L heads suck

To the supercharged 2.2's: for your tune, did you go through trifecta itself or a 3rd party company? Just wondering cuz i was looking at badnewsracing's deals but idk if its the same thing.

I'm going through trifecta. From the build threads I have read, it is one of the best options for L61s and LAPs.

I would think 215 would be easy to hit. Are you going to use the stock exhaust and intake?

I have an lsj header to delete the SAI and a tsudo n1 catback. Might pick up an lsj dp to complete the exhaust tho. not sure. Ive done some reading on Gene's build and with a 2.9 and ported blower and ported tb, i will prob see close to what he got, like 250whp+

As for the intake, I am just thinking about throwing my own cai together with some more 3" pipes and a filter at the end instead of forking over 100+ for it. The kit i got came with some pipes, clamps, connectors, and a pipe to hold the maf so it would be easy to do.

What gauges does everyone generally run besides interceptors? Ive got a boost and wideband and deciding whether or not to put in a water temp for the ic pump line.

Those are all the gauges you need.

No need for a water temp gauge for the ic system. That water will stay right around ambient temp which doesn't tell you anything. Interceptor, wideband, and boost is all you need and technically the interceptor reads boost but everyone loves watching that needle move around on the mechanical gauge Only other thing you should do is rewire with a 2.5 bar map so you can read IAT2's

i was thinking about doing that re-wire but i heard it can cause a tuning headache.

I went through a can doing light coats before it got dark enough and it just looked like my tail lights were foggy. im gonna try again but start with 2-3 cans and probably thicker coats.

id also like to do the 2.5 bar map, but is the rewire the same for the 2.4's as the 2.2's? the thread that posted up how to do it did it on a 2.4l i believe. Would it be the same process for the 2.2l?

and anyone know the part number of the sensor used to do this?

i'm still on the 1 bar map, and was tunned by vince. it runs fine, but the car runs rich (10.0's) at partial throttle when i'm seeing like 0-5 psi. Cuz when the car sees 0 psi, it just starts dumping fuel in cuz it cant read the exact psi above that.

one of the pictures in my first post is a 2.5 bar map. Not sure how to re-wire and a bit cautious on doing it from the problem Gene had in his build.
