Rewire is the same for L61, LAP, and LE5 engines. Just take the wires shown on the L61/LAP Map sensor and connect them to the new LSJ connector. Wire colors won't do much good with a new GM connector because all the wires are white so you will have to go by the pin numbers to identify the wires. Then take the IAT wire from the MAF and connect it to the IAT2 wire on the MAP connector

i have to get the 2.5 bar map to read IAT2 temps. my car is done and i can drive it and all.
just trying to figure another problem out where when i go into R my throttle is at like 42 %. and than if i put it back in P it does same thing like puting the pedal to floor it revs slow.than if i turn the car off and back on it revs fine normal speed till i put it in to reverse. but drive is fine and all that they told me it isnt the tune but i dont know im HP tuned

ok im debating whether or not to get a new downpipe (either lsj or zzp new) or keep my stock one and get the bung welded to that. on terms of price its like 15 bucks to get it welded versus 250 for a new 3" downpipe. what should i do?? Will the extra money be worth it?

Pretty sure it's 3/4"
Get a header and downpipe combo if you do anything. They are worth the money. I have the long tube header which I think is great but I hear the midlength makes a big difference too.

did a fuckton of work today lol. i got carried away. my tune isnt even gonna be ready till next week but i figured i'd start. and ended up nearly finishing. all i have to do is the plumbing, wire up the h/e pump, finish jerry-rigging the intake, and tune. still deciding on an aftermarket downpipe. 3"catless sounds good? or ill just get a bung on my stock one.

figured it all out. my build is basically done, just need to install the downpipe, connect the hoses to the coolant tank, finish the intake, and get one more fuel injector clip (don't ask haha im stupid). and then the tune. :-)
