Serious Advice On Options

I have my 2008 2.2 auto just under 25k and i only have an intake and exhaust iam seriously looking to do stuff to make it more enjoyable to drive. Out of the options of Bolt ons/Cams, Supercharging or Turbocharging what do you guys think would be the best bet in terms of not running into problems overall short and long term. Or in all reality would money be better spent to buying a project car this way not racking up miles while modding.

If you want to do a 2.2L, bolt-ons would be about the most I would go unless you want to turn your car into a money pit with boosted build. I wouldn't even bother with cams unless you're going to do other internals.

Basic bolt-ons and tune will take you a long way, these 2.2L's just don't handle boost for cheap.

get someone knowledgable, got through one of the build threads THROUGHOLY that shows what bolts/ parts to get and do an SC conversion...
its the cheapest power and probly easiest...
as much as i love my car, some days (when i look at how much ive spent) i regret doing N/A hahaha...but i would do it all over again

None of the options listed. Chances are pretty high your going to run into some issue during an install or down the road is you significantly modify your car. Read the 2.2 sections. There's at least 25 different people who have boosted thier cars, made builds thread and have posted all of the issues they've ran into and thier progress over time. When did you start making these types of threads? 2009? Its almost 2011. Have you gone through the 2.2 performance sections at all? I really suggest looking at all of the build threads and searching all posts / threads made by people who did boost 2.2ls, if your serious.

A lot of people have successfully done turbo, super, and cam's. Most the people having problems are either pioneering a direction, or doing very custom jobs. But a lot of people with kits or doing what's been proven they been having more luck.

Also ask people with cam's i never hear many problems with those.
