should i do this or buy an ss/tc?

i was looking into trading in my 08 LT and getting an ss/tc with 191 miles... sold as new for $15,986... after my trade in it would cost like $8000-9000

but i thought about insurance and all that considering im only 16, and a great idea popped in my head....

get a set of coilovers... megan racing for $805 shipped
turbo the car thru ZZP and get tuned thru trifecta for $2500ish
get the ss/sc lip kit for an unknown price lol... should be under $1000

so i could do all this for under $5K and have a better suspension and still a great amount of power

im all ears for opinions

where did u find a brand new TC for under 16k in MI? Ill go get it.

If you want uniqueness then just turbo your LT just remember it will always be an LT, if you want coolness, factory power, comfort, features, and a higher model then upgrade.

get the ss/tc, you will have a better car, nicer interior, and still retain a factory warraty...

Turbo urs don't go in debt, hell down a few thousand and u can really have fun with the car, so it's a lt big woop make it a fast of cuz in the end it cones down too, " omg u lost to a base model", of "big woop u beat a base model" u can't lose

ok .. ususally i say mod what you have.. but .. buy an ss/tc... and wtf they're only giving you like 7 k for a basically brand new car? i would have thought a little bit more ...

but seriously

the price you're going to pay to make your ride super custom.. and equal will put you over the price of and ss/tc...

i'm usuatlly the first to advocated building a ride instead of buying it ..but for 16k ... you'll have a nice ride.. and for 1k more you'll have a pretty fast right... with much nicer seats suspension rims and motor... if the 2.2s took to boost better i'd say build that up .. but you'll probably wind up spending more that way .. if you can afford it .. go with the ss/tc if you cant afford new car payments.. then boost your ride..

there are good things about both.. but thats a pretty awesome deal
