Sleeperbalt-Forged/TVS - break in

Just finished up the build hours ago. She seems to be running good but I haven't went past 2,000 rpms yet. I honed the cylinders for the new rings with flex-hone 320 grit. Anything special I should do to break the new rings in?

According to a local shop in my state, no need to break in an engine. Just floor it and dump the clutch. BWAAA BWAAAAAAAA.

Don't listen to this ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffucking idiot. That's my only advice. as long as the rings have seated properly you should be fine. Most people will only run the oil for a few hundred miles before changing it. Some people also change it immediately after the first run.

Start it.
Let it warm up to temp.
Run for a few minutes.
Change the oil and filter.

I was pretty paranoid with it being my first time doing anything this involved. So I ran a little bit of oil through it before starting it at all, just to flush out any excess foreign matter. Then I filled it with oil and ran it for probably 15-20 minutes and changed the oil and filter. I'll probably change the oil again at around 200-300 miles. I tried to keep everything really clean but I don't want to risk excess wear from foreign material that inevitably got in there.
