You have to be carefull not to let it sit on your sway bar because it will rattle, but other than that yes, it fits directly on and bolts right up.

you feel a little more difference, not much sound difference from the stock exhaust, i have had no problems as far as rubbing or anything and it bolted right up. It is a nice upgrade though

Sound was the reason I got mine, at about 3 grand and up the back pressure causes the stock LS exhaust to hiss noticeably. Just couldnt stand it.

In order to take it off, you have to cut it before the rear crossmember. (Easy way)

Or, you can do this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-install-pacesetter-cat-back-no-cutting-35684/

we ended up cutting it in the spots that the gmpp exhaust connect so i could fit it back into the box and back into my car. let me know if anyone is interested (probably will have to get it welded by a shop which won't be expensive at all...i will post pics soon.. exhaust only had 4000 miles on it

the exhaust has to be cut unless you have access to a lift, which most of us dont, but welding shouldnt be to much, i pays 30 to get mine welded back together
