yeah mine still makes noise. Like your buddy said the valvetrain sounds normal for a 4 cylinder.

 

yea but that is a lil much, maybe because of the timing. plus it didnt make that noise when I timed it

 

yeah i know. maybe the tenseinor. sounds like the chain is coming around and hitting the cover or something. you know

 

well when i listened the noises were coming from exhaust side (maybe when he fucked with the exhaust cam so much it pumped the oil out the lifters)

 

Well they will just take time to fill back up if thas the case.

so did ur car like stall or did it like jump n stop? Does your intake do that goofy noise still? when i turn my car off it feels like i just stalled a manual car out

 

haha well it does stall but it was idling before fine. my intake did do that normal spit noise. i think i got a vaccum leak, when my car started spitting, the data log shows that my manifold pressure went sky high so i am going to look around for the air. my dad told me he heard an air leak so prob got one

well stage 2 cams caused me to snap the bottom of the vavle clean off the head along with destroying the spark plug (cylinder 4) and i think i may have bent two valves, one I, one E on 4..... ******* BEAT!

Yeah man we had lots of fun. Sucks we only got one of two running but no worries won't be much longer on the other hopefully.

How was the idle and rolling stops last night after we left?

 

so one cars valvetrain is fucked and the other is good to go (the one in the video)?

what was the issue? just off timing?

 

actually it was pretty good for a lil but here and there it had problems and stalled and rough idle, then we tried to use the raised idle tune and it was running like the -4 to 20 to -4 (like you were explaining)

yes MP's car is fixed and i got a broke and i think 2 bent valves all on 4

yes just the timing was off

Yeah the motor shacks a little but thats normal with the stage 2 cams most likely. Im ordering tranny mounts monday from turbo tech racing or the ones modern performance has. idk which would be better and last.
